Jellusion privacy policy

Jellusion is an Apple TV client for Jellyfin media servers. It is made by Evgenii Baranov.

What the app does with your data

• Nothing leaves your server. Jellusion connects only to the Jellyfin server you enter. Your sign-in, your library, what you watch and how far you got are exchanged with that server alone, over the address you gave it, using the Jellyfin API.
• No accounts of ours. Jellusion has no user accounts, no cloud service and no back end.
• No analytics, no tracking, no advertising. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting software and no third-party SDKs that talk to the network. It does not use the advertising identifier and does not track you across apps or websites.
• Stored on the Apple TV only: the address of each server you added, the access token your server issued at sign-in (kept in the device Keychain), your playback settings, cached artwork, and a snapshot of your Continue Watching list for the Top Shelf. Signing out removes the token and the snapshot; deleting the app removes everything.
• Local network. To find servers on your network the app sends a short discovery broadcast. tvOS asks for your permission first. Nothing is collected from the network.

Your Jellyfin server

What your server logs and stores about you is governed by whoever runs that server, not by this app. Jellyfin’s own privacy documentation applies to it.

Children

Jellusion is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date.
